So, yesterday I had my first big football fan experience. Poland controlled the ball about 60-70% of time and totally dominated the russians, attacking them constantly. The game was well-played, but had too much missed opportunities on Poland`s side. I counted the times they missed - they could have won like 6:1. But, neither won this time… Still, everybody had the feeling that POLAND WON. It is just… Compare russian and polish goals. Russian feels more like a random crowd of kicking russians distracted the goalkeeper - and ball comes out of nowhere, like a, pardon me, sh*t out of a water. And polish goal is a clean-cut, strict, rad kick straight to the russian Russian defense was very thick and still - they made it!!!!! With russians throwing them on the floor and following them around all the time. The ones who seen the game know that there two goals by poles there, not one… Judge decided that it was “dirty” while beating polish players by russians was absolutely acceptable. I`d stick with 2:1 Poles weren`t, still, motivated enough and dissapointed me in the end. But SO MUCH CLASS.
